Sara Stridsberg
Sara Stridsberg was born in 1972. She writes novels and plays and works also as a translator and journalist.
Her first novel about Sally Bauer, the first woman from Scandinavia, who swam across the English Channel, was published in 2004. For her second novel, The Dream Faculty, she received the Literature Prize of the Nordic Council in 2007. Most recently published was her novel Darling River in 2010.
